2021 China Seed Congress & Nanfan Agricultural Silicon Valley Forum opened in Sanya, Hainan Province on March 20, 2021.

2021 China Seed Congress & Nanfan Agricultural Silicon Valley Forum, grandly held in Sanya from March 20, 2021 to March 24, 2021, has attracted 29 academicians and more than 100 domestic and foreign experts to participate. It has covered many conference issues, including rice, corn, vegetables, Nanfan, intellectual property protection in seed industry, modern seed industry park and frontier of life science, etc.

On March 20, 2021, He Xiaorong, vice President of the Supreme People's Court, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He said on his speech that the Supreme People's Court will guide the Intellectual Property Court of Hainan Free Trade Port to give a full play to the advantages of the free trade port policy, further strengthen the judicial protection of new plant varieties, and enhance the endogenous driving force of independent innovation in the seed industry from the source. On March 22, Zhou Xiang, deputy chief judge of the Intellectual Property Court of Supreme People's Court, and Xia Junli, president of the Intellectual Property Court of Hainan Free Trade Port attended the intellectual property protection forum in seed industry. Zhou Xiang made a special speech on the judicial protection and development of rights of the new variety plants in China. Xia Junli introduced the main situation of the Intellectual Property Court of Hainan Free Trade Port playing its judicial function, serving the national strategy and strengthening the judicial protection of intellectual property.
