Hainan's 1st aerospace museum to debut in Sanya in 2025

The Space Science and Technology Museum project of Sanya Remote Sensing Information Industry Park is set to reach completion conditions by June 2025, with full operational capabilities anticipated by the end of the year.

The project has made substantial progress, with all main structures now entirely constructed.

The project's primary planning encompasses a space science and technology exhibition and an international academic exchange center. It is the inaugural comprehensive project in Hainan centered on space science and technology, integrating science education, technology tourism, satellite design and application, remote sensing technology promotion, and remote sensing data reception and processing.

The project's total construction area is 56,000 square meters. The building is connected to the two buildings through a 78-meter-long, large-span cantilever corridor in the middle. This corridor integrates the two semi-enclosed buildings of the Space Technology Exhibition Hall and the International Academic Exchange Center as a Mobius strip, creating a sense of technology.

Since its establishment in 2016, Sanya Remote Sensing Information Industry Park has followed government directives, utilized research units' scientific and technological resources, gathered social forces for investment, introduced high-tech led by aerospace information technology, and established a distinctive aerospace industry area.
